Give an urgent gift to help children like Ava*.
We know that it’s a very busy and exciting time of year for most of us, however home and family isn’t always a safe place.
Sadly, almost 2.5 million Australians (1 in 8 people) have reported experiencing abuse and violence before the age of 15 years^. There are so many children and young people living with violence today. And they need our help.
This Christmas, you can give a child just like Ava the tools they need to heal the harm they have lived through. Our most vulnerable children need people like you to ensure that they have the specialised therapeutic counselling to help them find the light and experience the joys of childhood again.
At just 6 years old, little Ava experienced family violence which left her unable to sleep, concentrate at school and focus on anything but keeping herself safe.
Please donate to help children and young people like Ava across Australia access the vital support needed to bring hope and healing to their lives.
The devastating effects of family violence can profoundly impact a child’s life. Sadly, our recently released Still Unseen and Ignored report emphasises how these children and the issues they face may not be prioritised within our community.
Children don’t recover on their own from the devastating impacts of family violence. Australian Childhood Foundation provides specialised therapeutic services, tailored to the needs of the children and young people we support so they can heal from the trauma they have faced.
Today we need your help.
Our most vulnerable children need people like you to ensure that the Foundation is there through dark times and to help them find the light and celebrate Christmas with hope and joy.
Will you lend support, by sending a gift to help children like Ava access specialist therapeutic support this Christmas?
Please donate today so that children just like Ava can begin their journey towards healing and hope.
